About Us

Betty Woods Gimarelli was well known in both the business and art community, and designed and produced The Portland Ornament™ since 1989. All ornaments come in a red box for gift giving. They are 24K gold plate with silk screen enamel, red ribbon for hanging and lay on a red peachboard. With each ornament there is a story of the historic site.

Each year Betty selected a different view of her beloved city, culminating in her 25th anniversary ornament celebrating "Its a Wonderful Life."  In 1994, Betty added our neighboring city to the north, issuing a new specially designed ornament for the city of Seattle.
